One of my go to spots for a quick meal. They have the best MEATLOAF  and salisbury steak. When they have the ribs and bbq they are also tasty, they are cooked on a grill in back sometimes, so it has a charcoal like flavor. There sweet tea is bomb and not overly sweet. Mac and cheese is also delicious and not easy mac. But man there meatloaf is what dreams are made of. The one thing i do not really like is the instant mash potatoes ehh. But that is about it, and for the price its hard to beat. Even takeout from there is priced right. There breakfast is pretty limited but unlimited bacon for 6.99 lol, thats a win win. The owner is really cool honestly, we always end up having conversation about life. I love coming here! For the people who complain about the food, you are paying 6.99-8.99. So have 6.99-8.99 expectations on everything  LOL.

This is by far one of the worst experiences I've had while eating out at a restaurant. Ate here on Sunday 07/21/19 with my parents and uncle. I knew the food would not be good from the moment I stepped foot inside but my uncle wanted to eat here for his birthday. I only ate a salad and some Mac and cheese because I could not stomach anything else. The croutons in my salad tasted old and soggy and the Mac and cheese was just a frozen product that was reheated in the oven, so bland and half cold. It's laughable that this place describes themselves as "home cooked". Well not only did I not enjoy the food one bit but my parents did not either and my dad had already eaten half of a fried chicken leg when he sees it still bloody inside!!! This place is serving raw chicken!! I asked the hostess if I could speak to the manager and she said he was not there today and I told her that raw chicken is being served here and it can make someone sick. She said okay, I will tell the kitchen and also said and I quote "we had a busy lunch rush, maybe couldn't cook the chicken all the way". Um what?! That could cause salmonella poisoning! I said I wanted a refund for this awful and uncooked food and she said no refund. She kept saying "I'm sorry, I'm sorry", and I had to continuously argue with her about the dangers of serving raw chicken and how my father could get very sick from this. She gave us one buffet price back which was $9.50 when we paid $40 for this trash food. Very upset with this place and how they conduct business. I urge you not to eat at this place, it's a health hazard.

The food here is terrible!!! I have never been to a restaurant with all the food is nasty except the chicken.....the staff are very nice. The cook needs lessons I can cook better and I'm not a chef.

For what you're paying, this place is legit. It serves pretty much every southern food item you can think of and tastes like your grandma cooked it at home. Not greasy or heavy. Also the service is really good and less busy than Golden Corral although there aren't as many food options.

I have not been to this restaurant in over 3 years so I decided to come back today because I have been passing by I live in the area and I kept seeing a lot of people going in and out when I initially went it wasn't all that good I went for breakfast so this time I went for lunch it was a very good experience overall the food was nice and hot and fresh the service was friendly and quick my favorite items on the menu Buffet were the catfish fried catfish hush puppies were good I also liked the fried eggplant and I also like the salad the salad bar was very fresh. My least favorite for me where the ribs I get it it's not actually on a grill they were to me had a burnt charcoal like taste to it and that's just not one of my favorite taste I know people who make them like that in a lot of people like them like that I just don't like I prefer a more Smoky flavor flavor the sauce was good the barbecue sauce was sort of sweet but it's just I didn't like the burnt charcoal like elements of it other than that the food was good the only desert I tried was the peach cobbler it was decent the peaches were delicious the crust was okay I'll definitely be back I want to try their dinner much better than last time
